About This Location
This is a quick photo stop on Grodzka Street, near number 17, where a dragon appears in an upper window above the Karmello café on the corner by Plac Wszystkich Świętych. It is a modern, playful installation that suddenly catches the eye in the middle of the historic Old Town. The fun part is the contrast: Kraków’s dragon is usually linked with Wawel Hill, but here the legend pops up in a shopfront setting, turning an ordinary street corner into a mini “spot-the-dragon” moment. For the best photo, stand across the street so the full window frame is visible, then include a little of the corner façade to show it is really part of the city’s everyday street life.
