Our story

PhoneGuide helps curious travelers explore cities with audio guides

We work with local storytellers and guides, turning cities into open-air museums you can explore at your own pace.

Our mission

PhoneGuide was created so every traveler can experience culture and city stories without group tours or strict schedules.

What inspires us

We create routes ourselves, test every point, and package experiences in a format that's easy to take on any trip.

  • Living stories

We explore archives, blogs, and conversations in local communities to convey the city's atmosphere through authentic stories.

  • Freedom to move

We build main tracks and short side paths so you can slow down at favorite spots, pause, or turn toward unexpected discoveries.

  • Attention to detail

We add text, multiple voices, and offline access so the route is clear and accessible in any situation.

How PhoneGuide evolved

We're testing the approach with our own prototype and preparing new cities.

  1. Prototype in Warsaw

We built the first Warsaw route: walked it ourselves, recorded AI-generated voice, and tested how smart maps help stay on track.

  2. Open beta testing

We invite travelers to walk the route, share updates as we develop, and quickly fix navigation and narration based on their feedback.

Try it yourself and share your experience

Walk one of our routes, leave feedback on navigation and narration - and if you like it, tell your friends about it.
